Maikelele to make NiP debut today

Mikail "Maikelele" Bill will make his first official appearance for Ninjas in Pyjamas today, in the Caseking King of Kings tournament.

The Swedish player joined NiP on trial last week as a replacement for Robin "⁠Fifflaren⁠" Johansson, who announced his retirement from gaming in the wake of the ESWC event, in Paris.

It was the first roster change for NiP since the team's creation, in August 2012, and there is a real sense of excitement to see whether Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill's addition will be able to kick-start a team that has faltered since winning ESL One Cologne.

NiP have been drawn in the same group as Planetkey Dynamics, Epsilon and Cloud9 in Caseking King of Kings, and will tackle the EPS Germany champions in the first round, at 18:00 .

Should they beat Tobias "⁠Troubley⁠" Tabbert's side, the Swedish giants will play a second match today, the group's Upper Final, at 20:00 , this time in a best-of-three format.
